Before the lesson
Print page 1 and reserve page 2. This sheet practises affirmative verb forms, not a full question-and-negative paradigm.
- Model I drink and She works. Identify the subject before deciding whether the verb needs an ending.
- Complete the gaps, checking -s, -es and consonant-plus-y changes. Compare studies with enjoy, where the vowel before y changes the pattern.
- Check the key and explain selected endings. Read a routine and a timetable example aloud.
Support and extension
Support with separate third-person and other-subject groups. Extend by describing a fictional routine; question and negative transformations are teacher-added activities, not extra printed sections.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
