Before the lesson
Use both pages. Read the two model conversations before distributing the paired role cards; partners should see only their own instructions.
- Compare the quieter twin room now with the double tomorrow; identify how the guest weighs convenience.
- Practise the room change, parking/breakfast bill and later checkout; distinguish erroneous parking from the valid takeaway breakfast.
- Confirm the room move, corrected receipt or combination of checkout and lounge use.
Support and extension
Use a simple booking-and-charge grid. Extend by combining luggage storage with lounge access. Respect the next guest's booking and the budget; all hotel policies are fictional.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
