Before the lesson
Choose four of the 20 prompts and clarify essential terms such as compulsory voting or short-term rentals.
- Plan a position, reason and limitation for a topic such as remote work, museums or privacy.
- Discuss in pairs, asking the partner to explain assumptions or consider who might be affected differently.
- Summarise both views and identify what information would help decide, without requiring agreement.
Support and extension
Provide a small argument outline for support. Extend by comparing short- and long-term consequences. Keep factual claims distinguishable from opinion; this prompt sheet is not a source of policy evidence.
