Before the lesson
Use the two model conversations and key-phrase lists on the single learner page; the final prompts are open-ended and need no fixed answer key.
- Identify how the workshop-proposal model narrows the session and checks assumptions with the organiser.
- Trace the repair-workshop case from benefit to a small trial, measurement and volunteer confirmation.
- Use a prompt to develop a proposal with two key phrases, a challenge and a reasoned response.
Support and extension
Offer benefit/resource/evidence notes. Extend by letting the listener request one condition before agreement; avoid inventing certainty about funding or safety.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
