Before the lesson
Give learners page 1 and retain the page 2 key for checking. The personal responses are examples, not answers learners must copy.
- Compare some food with a shortage of preparation time in the example.
- Complete A with a little, a few, each and either; answer about time, friendships, a shared meal and two possible venues.
- Reorder B's two shops, limited time and every guest's ticket questions, then agree what a small event needs.
Support and extension
Distinguish little time from a little time, and match few to plural count nouns. Each/every take singular nouns here. Either asks about two alternatives; Neither is suitable is a valid negative personal response.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
