A simple way to teach it
Before the lesson
Separate cards 2A and 2B. Preview public transport and information to trust; use a hypothetical salary choice rather than personal pay details.
- Discuss each card's five questions with reasons, including how work has changed and what makes a city accessible.
- Invite a partner to challenge one general claim with a specific example about phones, trusted information or tourism.
- Finish by comparing a proposed transport improvement with the needs of children and older people.
Support and extension
Support with One advantage is ... and However ...; extend by identifying who benefits and who might be disadvantaged. No current statistics or fixed answer key are needed.
