Before the lesson
Use the single question-practice page in pairs. Answers depend on the learners and their surroundings, so there is no fixed key.
- Read the tired-today model and practise a full response alongside the printed short-answer help.
- Take turns with the personal and look-around questions, using the actual classroom or a room at home.
- Ask extra questions to find two things in common and report them with we're or we aren't.
Support and extension
Offer I'm…, it's… and they're… frames. Extend with What about you?; check singular/plural agreement without treating different personal answers as mistakes.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
