Before the lesson
Use the single question-practice page in pairs. Answers depend on the learners and their surroundings, so there is no fixed key.
- Read the bag-and-bike model and distinguish he's from his and my from I.
- Ask about friends, family and nearby possessions; point to real objects when ownership is clear.
- Introduce a partner to another pair, including their home town, favourite colour and one shared fact.
Support and extension
Provide the printed pronoun/possessive pairs. Extend with a listener's question; allow fictional people or suitable singular they when learners prefer not to share personal details.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
