Before the lesson
Give both pages and private visitor/seller cards. Preview included, special exhibition, audio guide and availability.
- Read the ticket and short-tour models, checking how cost and duration affect the visitor's choice.
- Role-play the family-ticket comparison, an exhibition with limited time and an accessible visit via River Street.
- Confirm the ticket total, visit plan or step-free route, then swap roles and alter one constraint.
Support and extension
Support with a ticket/price/included chart. Extend by explaining that £28 is cheaper than £32 for separate family tickets, and that an affordable audio guide may still be too long. Prices and accessibility details are fictional; avoid assuming the nearest entrance is suitable.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
