Before the lesson
Use both pages. Read the two model conversations before distributing the paired role cards; partners should see only their own instructions.
- Read the exhibition and full-tour models; separate general admission from extra bookings and guide costs.
- Practise the 90-minute visit, unavailable tour and wrong-day booking; check whether a slot in 45 minutes plus an hour fits.
- Confirm the realistic visit plan, guide combination or changed booking, including access and cost.
Support and extension
Draw a time strip for support. Extend by comparing what to skip rather than trying to do everything. The fictional first card cannot fit the full proposed exhibition visit within 90 minutes.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
