Before the lesson
Use the single learner page in pairs. Personal or invented responses can vary; there is no fixed answer key.
- Place the travel, arrival and dinner plans from the opening on a simple evening schedule.
- Answer the tomorrow, week-end and year-end prompts, separating activity at a time from completion by a time.
- Invent schedules and find a twenty-minute call slot; introduce a delay and negotiate a backup.
Support and extension
Offer will be travelling at… and will have finished by… frames. Check that the imagined schedule supports the distinction rather than demanding one tense for every future statement.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
