Before the lesson
Use the single learner page in pairs. Personal or invented answers can vary; there is no fixed answer key.
- Read the pool/class model and distinguish the arrangement, intention and quick offer.
- Ask about future plans and expectations, then respond to bags, a closed cafe, a forgotten birthday and study-help situations.
- Organise an afternoon, agree a meeting time/place and offer a solution to a predicted problem.
Support and extension
Ask Have you arranged it? to clarify meaning. These future forms can overlap naturally; do not reject a plausible alternative merely because a cue suggests another form.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
