Before the lesson
Use the two model conversations and key-phrase lists on the single learner page; the final prompts are open-ended and need no fixed answer key.
- Read the library example and identify missing pages, homework urgency and another-copy solution.
- Track the mistaken six-o'clock tickets, preference to sit together and replacement at eight.
- Use a prompt to create a dialogue with two key phrases, relevant details and a clear resolution request.
Support and extension
Offer problem/impact/request notes. Extend by letting the first proposed remedy be unsuitable so learners explain a preference politely.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
