Before the lesson
Cut or fold the single sheet along the dotted line and give each partner a different card. Each card has five questions. Preview What do you eat for breakfast? and Where do you have lunch?
- Model I eat ... and I have lunch at ... . Clarify that work or school questions can be answered with an imagined routine.
- Learners take turns asking and answering the five questions on their own card without showing it. Encourage a request to repeat when needed rather than reading a partner's questions.
- Invite partners to identify one shared routine and one different preference.
Support and extension
Support with meal words and clock times; extend by asking Why? after one preference question without requiring a long explanation. This is an open speaking activity with no answer key.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
