Before the lesson
Cut or fold the single sheet along the dotted line and give each partner a different card. Each card has five questions. Preview What do you do on Sunday? and When do you study English?
- Model I ... on Sunday and I study English ... . Clarify weekday names and weekend versus weekday routines.
- Learners take turns asking and answering the five questions on their own card without showing it. Encourage a request to repeat when needed rather than reading a partner's questions.
- Ask pairs to find a shared weekend activity and discuss one option for bad weather.
Support and extension
Support with an activity word bank; extend by making a simple imagined weekend plan. Personal answers vary and do not need a key. This is an open speaking activity with no answer key.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
