Before the lesson
Separate cards 2A and 2B along the dotted line. Model I've flown twice and I've never flown; preview youngest and oldest.
- Ask the breakfast and after-work questions first to establish familiar routine language.
- Take turns through the remaining questions. Encourage because for home-versus-restaurant and drive-versus-train preferences; no driving experience is required.
- Compare two ways of relaxing or staying healthy mentioned by the partners, without judging anyone's personal habits.
Support and extension
Provide frequency words and family superlative frames. Extend with a question about a restaurant or cafe. Learners can invent family details or pass; no answer key is needed.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
