Before the lesson
Give learners separate cards. Preview institution and bias; ask them to distinguish a question's premise from an established fact.
- Discuss the prompts with examples, testing rather than automatically accepting the suggestion that privacy is becoming a luxury.
- Link technology-company power with innovation and harm; compare a proposed safeguard with its possible costs.
- End by relating tourism or differing beliefs to inclusion, acknowledging disagreement without flattening differences.
Support and extension
Support with a narrowed hypothetical case. Extend by presenting the strongest opposing argument before responding. Avoid naming private accounts or claiming unsupported current facts; no correct-opinion key applies.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
