Before the lesson
Use the two model conversations and key-phrase lists on the single learner page; the final prompts are open-ended and need no fixed answer key.
- Trace the activity choices from missing swimming things to a lit river walk and noodles.
- Read the study dialogue and explain why individual practice comes before answer comparison.
- Create a prompt exchange with two key phrases, a concern and acceptance of an adjusted plan.
Support and extension
Offer accept/decline/reason/alternative frames. Extend by adding a second suggestion that cannot be accepted immediately.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
