Before the lesson
Use the single learner page in pairs. Personal or imagined answers can vary; there is no fixed answer key.
- Read the packing model and separate recent completion from jobs already done.
- Ask about today and an imagined trip, explaining what remains to do.
- Give party-preparation updates about food, music, invitations and cleaning.
Support and extension
Use done/not done task cards. Extend with next actions; accept other natural already positions rather than treating the common position as the only one.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
