Before the lesson
Keep page-2 examples for support, making clear that learners should adapt the facts to their own or invented situations.
- Model a full How long answer and distinguish for five years from since 2022.
- Write the ten answers, practising have/has plus a participle and not… yet. Encourage a full sentence for the experience questions.
- Compare with the example page for grammar, not identical content. Check that today and this week refer to the current unfinished period.
Support and extension
Support with a small participle bank and oral rehearsal. Extend by adding one simple detail to a chosen answer; alternatives are welcome where a personal question does not apply.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
