Before the lesson
Keep answers separate. Review the + -est, the most and irregular the best / the worst. Make the comparison group clear.
- Read the restaurant dialogue and complete Part A, avoiding forms such as most biggest.
- Complete Part B with the whole superlative including the, then use the three-item groups in Part C.
- Write three opinions naming a group or area, then compare three places and explain a shared choice with two superlatives.
Support and extension
For support, display spelling changes such as busy → busiest. Part A already prints the before its options; Part B requires learners to supply it. Treat personal preferences as opinions, not fixed facts. An optional extension is to explain why the preferred option differs from the cheapest one.
Suggested approach. Adjust the pace and number of questions to suit your class.
